Our Supported Systems Programme, delivered by the Bluestar Project (UK’s Best Practice Standard for the delivery of pre-trial therapy and support services), will:

• Map current children’s support and prevention provision.
• Identify good practice and service gaps.
• Showcase best practice models, like the Barnhaus Child House, specialist voluntary sector and collaborative commissioning, through a series of Learning Events.
• Provide Bluestar training for pre-trial and partnership working;
• Establish Lived Experience networks to co-design local commissioning and services.
• Build readiness for collaborative commissioning and trauma-informed practice across the voluntary sector, health, CAMHS and justice sector in line with Child House principles.

While delivery of our programme sits largely at a local level, we are happy to offer nationally alongside this a programme of learning events and reflective spaces.

We’re recruiting a Practice and Insights Officer to join Bluestar’s Supported Systems Change Programme team – a brand new role at the heart of our expansion into Southwest England.

Overview:

• Southwest England (largely remote, occasional site visits)
• £48,000 FTE (0.8 WTE PAYE) or £420/day (Associate route)
• 12-month contract
• Closing 17th September, 11:59pm – interviews 21st September

You’ll be helping deliver real, lasting change under the Victims and Prisoners Act’s new duty to collaborate – building joined-up commissioning of child sexual abuse services, embedding lived experience, and ensuring children get timely access to the support they deserve after sexual abuse.
