The programme is a three-day onsite evaluation that can be undertaken as a formal accreditation assessment or as a supported developmental process, depending on where your organisation is in its journey. Both routes give you a detailed, honest picture of where your service is and what it needs to deliver best practice pre-trial support.

The evaluation includes a desktop audit of policy and practice, a case note audit, and interviews with staff, survivors and partner organisations. At the end of the process, your service receives a bespoke evaluation report and up to three follow-up consultations to support you in embedding the recommendations.

The accreditation is open to organisations delivering pre-trial therapy and support to children, young people and adults within the criminal justice process, whatever the offence type.
